Nadia Rusi
Master Trainer
Nadia Rusi is part of the Faculty of Law of University of Tirana since 2010. She received the Bachelor Degree in Law (2010) from University of Tirana, Faculty of Law, with the title “Excellent Student”. She holds a PhD on Gender Studies in Goods and Services at University of Tirana (2015). Since 2013 she received the title “Lawyer” from National Chamber of Advocacy of Albania.
In 2016 she is certificated as “Trainer of human rights in Public Administration” from the Albanian School of Public Administration in cooperation of OSCE and from 2018 trains public officials as ASPA Trainer. In 2019 she is certificated as HELP (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) trainer by the Council of Europe.
In addition to the academic background she also has a strong legal counseling experience in the area of human rights and gender equality, working as coordinator and/or external expert in several international and national projects in collaboration with the Center of Legal Civic Initiative in Albania, Un Women, ERRC, PNUD etc. Her current research interests include international human rights law and gender equality in which she has authored several articles in Albania and internationally. She has been part of many international and national conferences within her fields of interest.
