We are delighted to announce that today we have started the institutional talks for shaping future cooperation between the French National School of Administration (ENA) and the Albanian School of Public Administration.

In the meeting were present these officials:
Mr. Frederic Rauser, Head of the Department for International Projects and Partnerships, ENA, France;
Mrs. Anne-Elisabeth Gautier, Attachée for Cooperation, French Embassy, Albania;
Mr. Sebastien Botreau-Bonneterre, Councillor, International Technical Expert, Prime Minister Office, Albania;
Mrs. Kleopatra Maliqi, Director General, Albanian School of Public Administration, Albania;
Mr. Enrriko Kapiti, Director of e-Learning Directory, Albanian School of Public Administration, Albania;
Mrs. Daniela Ndrejaj, Chief of Sector for Needs Assessment and Development of Alternative Training Methods, in the Training Directory, Albanian School of Public Administration, Albania.

The scope of the institutional cooperation:
The parties will cooperate on, inter alia, the exchange of experience and good practices related to institutional developments and European Integration.

About French National School of Administration (ENA):
The French National School of Administration was created by General de Gaulle on October 9th 1945. ENA selects and trains senior civil servants of the French Administration.
ENA’s missions are:
– The recruitment and initial training of French and foreign senior civil servants;
– Continuing education and training of French and foreign civil servants, within the framework of short or long term sessions;
– European and international bilateral and multilateral relations in the field of public governance and administration;
– Training in European issues.

ENA has trained more than 6,500 senior French civil servants and nearly 3,650 foreigners. More than a hundred nationalities are represented each year, not counting the 1,300 people from all over the world who participate in study visits. Evolving with the times, ENA will soon become the National Institute of Public Service.

About Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA):
The Albanian School of Public Administration (ASPA) is a central, public institution responsible for providing obligatory and non-obligatory learning and development services to central government, local government, and independent institutions. Our institution was established in Tirana, in the year 2000, initially organized as the Training Institute of Public Administration (TIPA) and since 2013 as the Albanian School of Public Administration.

The purpose of our organization is to support the development of the Albanian Public Administration, ensuring that public employees have the knowledge, skills and experience to fulfil individual and organisational needs. Annually, around 5000 individuals and 17000 participants from public administration bodies participate in our training services.
